RVing With Cats – Cute, Personalized Gifts For The RV Cat

I love being an rv cat – even more, I love the status it brings. No, I’m not an ordinary cat living in a house…serving little purpose with exception of a swiffer to dust off wherever I lie. I’m a cool rving cat and with that comes responsibility… No more hiding under couches – I actually help navigate the rv, even when it makes scary sounds going down the road! No more blending in to the environment…the motorhome is my environment now, so I appear on beds, tables, dashboards…you name it! Here are some cute rv items for cool cats … Continue reading

Well fellow rving cats and any traveling cat, I’m sure you can empathize that my next few days are going to be extremely busy! Yes, for the Labor Day holiday, we have to pack up the motorhome, get tidy and prepared to hit the road. We are going to drive about 80 miles and park in family’s driveway for the get together. But whether 80 or 800 miles, it is the same to me…I have so much to do! For instance: STEP ONE MAKE SURE THE RV IS IN TOP CONDITION BY CHECKING UNDERNEATH THE DASH. YEP, LOOKS GOOD! STEP … Continue reading

How Spot The RV Cat Keeps Cool In A Heatwave

Hello to RV cats everywhere! It is July 2012 and we have to be in the midwest this summer, for family reasons. Of course, we are usually in Montana this time of the year…where even if it gets hot for a month or two, the temps drop off to the 40s at night. But not HERE! No…I can’t even go out on my my cat harness or in my play yard because I just cannot take the heat. My humans also gripe and grumble all day long these days…they would make excellent felines, I often think to myself! We have … Continue reading

Litter Locker 2 – Great For House Cats Or An RV Cat Like Me!

Well folks, as an rv cat I must say the Litter Locker 2 has made my owners very happy. Don’t get me wrong, this affordable little litter disposal system, about the cost of a few bags of kitty litter, is great for any cat (except an alley cat, for obvious reasons). But rving with cats presents many challenges, and one of them is kitty litter box odor. When people rv with a cat, and I’m a cat who lives in an rv, so I speak with intelligence and experience, they aren’t always around a garbage can, nor is it convenient … Continue reading

Traveling With Cats? Try A Biodegradable Cat Travel Litter Box!

I am definitely a traveling cat – well aware of the problems that can arise living on the road. I live in an rv full time, but sometimes I still need to go here or there. It’s at these times when my owners desperately search for solutions. Aside from portable cat houses and non-spill food bowls, let’s face it – cat litter boxes are a problem. We aren’t like dogs (thank goodness) who just go anywhere in public…we have needs and we are discreet, royal creatures. We want to keep our dignity and have privacy when nature calls. Enter the … Continue reading

No Spill Traveling Water Bowl – Bowls For Cats And Dogs

A traveling water bowl is an essential part of my RV cat life. My owners, cutting corners wherever they can, tried to find a non-spill water bowl that would hydrate both Toto and me, plus our big dog, Hannah. When rving, just turning a corner can make for one wet cat and, as though I need to state this, I HATE water! However, not putting a cat water dish down when rving for hours would leave me dehydrated, of course. We use this travel water bowl in the motorhome whenever we are on the go, and it works. In fact, … Continue reading

The Best Cat Houses For Outdoor Cats, Or An Indoor Cat, Too!

Ok, the best cat houses for outdoor cats are to LET US INSIDE! Honestly, a small cat playpen vs. a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home…hmm…let me think. Get a cat door and let’s move on! But I do realize, being a cat, that there are times you cannot handle the thought of being without me – who wouldn’t? If you want to take me camping, let me out in the sun without risk of being attacked by coyotes or protect me indoors from your best friend’s toddler who is mesmerized by yanking on my tail, a cat outdoor enclosure is … Continue reading
